This is a set of eight Wiseco RED Series pistons, designed for Chevrolet Small Block engines. You get the pistons themselves, ready for installation. These pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is essential for the demands of performance racing and engines that use power adders like turbochargers or superchargers. The RED Series name stands for Race Engineered Design, meaning Wiseco has focused on features that give a competitive edge in racing environments, from drag strips to circle tracks.

The pin bores have horizontal slot oiling, which helps keep the wrist pin and the connecting rod's small end properly lubricated, a critical factor for long service life in a high-stress engine.
