Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of high-performance racing and power-adder applications. The RED (Race Engineered Design) series uses dedicated forgings to create an optimized strutted design, maximizing strength while keeping weight down. This is crucial for engines that see serious track time, from drag racing to circle track racing.

Wiseco has included several features to ensure longevity and consistent performance. Horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores keeps the wrist pin and small-end of the connecting rod properly lubricated, which is essential for preventing premature wear. The pistons also feature an accumulator groove, which helps maintain a consistent seal for the piston rings, ensuring optimal combustion pressure and power delivery. Additionally, an ArmorGlide skirt coating is applied to reduce friction and noise, further minimizing wear on both the piston skirts and the cylinder walls.

This set includes eight pistons, each designed for a 4.030-inch bore with a 1.550-inch compression height and a 0.927-inch pin diameter.
