Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of performance racing and power adder applications. The Race Engineered Design (RED) process means they're not just strong, but also precisely machined to give you a competitive edge, whether you're on the drag strip or circle track. This set is designed for popular domestic V8 platforms, forming the core of many high-performance builds.

Each piston features horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, which is crucial for keeping the wrist pin and small end of the connecting rod properly lubricated, contributing to a long service life. The dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific strutted design, maximizing strength while keeping weight down. You'll also find an ArmorGlide skirt coating that works to reduce friction and noise, while also minimizing wear on the piston skirt and cylinder wall. This set comes complete with premium rings, so you won't need to source them separately, and an accumulator groove helps maintain consistent ring seal for reliable power delivery.
