Wiseco incorporates several thoughtful features to ensure longevity and performance. Horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores keeps the wrist pin and connecting rod small end well-lubricated, which is crucial for extended service life under high stress. The dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific strutted design, maximizing strength while keeping weight down. Additionally, the ArmorGlide skirt coating works to reduce friction and noise, while also minimizing wear on the piston skirt and cylinder wall. An accumulator groove is also included to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output.
