Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of performance racing and engines with power adders. The Race Engineered Design (RED) process means they're not just strong, but also precisely machined to give you a competitive edge. This set is specifically for Chevrolet Small Block engines and includes eight pistons, ready to be installed.

Wiseco has incorporated several features to ensure durability and optimal performance. Horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores keeps the wrist pin and small end of the connecting rod well-lubricated, which is crucial for a long service life under stress. The dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific, strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. You'll also find an ArmorGlide skirt coating, which helps reduce friction and noise, while also minimizing wear on both the piston skirt and cylinder wall. An accumulator groove is included to help maintain consistent ring seal and consistent power delivery.
