Wiseco Chevy Small Block 4.145in Bore 1.120in CH 3.00 CC Piston Set

Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco Professional Series pistons are built for serious performance in Chevy Small Block engines. The 4.145-inch bore size is a common upgrade for increasing displacement, and the 1.120-inch compression height is designed to work with a variety of crankshafts and connecting rods to achieve specific deck heights and compression ratios. Each piston features precision-machined ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features to improve ring seal, which is crucial for preventing blow-by and maintaining cylinder pressure under extreme conditions.

Wiseco applies an ArmorGlide skirt coating to these pistons. This coating helps reduce friction between the piston skirt and cylinder wall, which can lead to improved efficiency and less wear. It also offers seizure resistance and contributes to quieter operation, especially during engine break-in and at lower RPMs. The fully machined crown ensures accurate combustion chamber volume, and forced pin oiling helps keep the wrist pin and connecting rod small end well-lubricated, a critical factor in high-stress applications. These pistons are designed and built in the USA to withstand heavy to severe duty performance builds.
