This Wiseco Professional Series piston is forged from 2618 aluminum, giving it improved tensile strength over cast aluminum. This piston features a fully machined crown with precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and additional features to improve ring seal. The ArmorGlide skirt coating helps reduce friction and noise, while also resisting seizure. Wiseco also incorporates forced pin oiling to ensure the piston pin stays well-lubricated under high stress. This piston is built to be a solid option for those pushing their engines hard.
This piston is sold individually and is designed for a 4.030 inch bore with a 1.2505 inch compression height and a 0.927 inch pin diameter. It fits a wide range of Chevrolet vehicles, including many Bel Air, Camaro, and C1500 models.
