Wiseco crafts these pistons from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its excellent tensile strength, which is crucial for handling the high pressures and temperatures found in performance engines. Each piston features precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features to ensure a solid seal and prevent detonation. The crown is fully machined for accuracy, and the pistons come with forced pin oiling to keep the wrist pins properly lubricated. Plus, the ArmorGlide skirt coating helps reduce friction and noise while resisting seizure, making for a smoother, more durable operation.
