Wiseco crafts these pistons from 2618 aluminum right here in the USA, chosen for its improved tensile strength. They're fully machined, including precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and features for better ring seal. The piston crown is also fully machined, and the skirt is treated with an ArmorGlide coating. This coating helps reduce friction, resist seizure, and operate more quietly.
