Product Details
Wiseco is well-known for making strong internal engine components. This Professional Series piston is built for Ford's 5.0L Coyote Modular V8 engine. If you're building a serious performance engine that needs to handle heavy or severe duty, this piston is designed to meet those demands.
It's forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, which gives it improved tensile strength over other materials. You'll also find precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features to help seal the rings better. The piston also has an ArmorGlide skirt coating that helps reduce friction, resist seizure, and operate more quietly. The crown is fully machined, and it features forced pin oiling to keep the wrist pin lubricated.
