Each piston is forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, chosen for its improved tensile strength, making them well-built for demanding performance. They include precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features to improve ring seal. The fully machined crown ensures accuracy, and forced pin oiling helps keep the wrist pins lubricated under high stress. Additionally, these pistons feature an ArmorGlide skirt coating, which helps reduce friction, resist seizure, and contribute to quieter operation.
