Starting with a 2618 aluminum alloy, these Wiseco pistons are forged and machined in the USA. This material choice is key for improved tensile strength, which is critical when you're building a high-performance, especially a turbocharged, engine. The pistons feature a -14cc dish volume and a 31.00 mm compression height, with a bore size of 89.00 mm, designed to work with the Honda H22 engine platform. This specific kit is for the 2000-2009 Honda S2000 and includes four pistons.

Wiseco has included several features to enhance performance and durability. The precision ring grooves are designed for better sealing, and there are additional features to improve ring seal, which helps maintain compression and prevent blow-by. An anti-detonation groove is also incorporated to help prevent pre-ignition in high-stress situations. For quieter operation and reduced friction, the pistons are treated with an ArmorGlide skirt coating, which also offers seizure resistance. These pistons are built to handle heavy to severe duty performance applications, making them a solid choice for serious builders.
