These pistons are forged and machined right here in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for engines running power adders or pushing high RPMs. Wiseco uses dedicated forgings for each specific engine application, allowing them to optimize the strutted design for the best possible strength-to-weight ratio. You'll also find horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, which is a smart detail that ensures the wrist pin and connecting rod small end stay well-lubricated, helping to extend the life of these critical components. Plus, the ArmorGlide® skirt coating is applied to reduce friction and noise, while also minimizing wear on the piston skirt and cylinder wall.

This set includes premium rings, so you won't have to source them separately, and features an accumulator groove to help maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery. Keep in mind that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
