Wiseco is well-known for making strong internal engine components, especially for performance applications. This piston kit is a prime example, designed for serious builders working on demanding Mitsubishi 4G63 engines. If you're rebuilding the top end of your 1993-1999 Eclipse, Lancer, or a similar DSM platform, these pistons are built to handle significant stress and power.

These pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum right here in the USA, which gives them improved tensile strength for high-performance use. They feature a -10cc dish volume, an 85.00 mm bore, and a 35.00 mm compression height, with a 0.866 inch pin diameter. The crown is fully machined, and they include precision ring grooves, anti-detonation grooves, and features to improve ring seal. For added durability and smoother operation, they come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating that reduces friction and noise, and resists seizure. The forced pin oiling design also helps keep things well-lubricated under extreme conditions.
