The -17cc dish design is specifically for turbocharged Mitsubishi 4G63 engines, helping to achieve a desired compression ratio when paired with the right cylinder head. Each piston features precision ring grooves, anti-detonation grooves, and other features to improve ring seal and durability under high stress.

Wiseco's ArmorGlide skirt coating is applied to reduce friction and noise, while also providing resistance to seizure.
