If you're rebuilding the heart of a Mitsubishi 4G63 engine for serious racing or heavy-duty performance, you need pistons that can handle the stress. Wiseco's Professional Series forged pistons are built from the ground up for these demanding applications. They are forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its improved tensile strength under extreme conditions.

These pistons feature precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features designed to improve ring seal, which is critical for maintaining compression and preventing detonation in high-performance engines. Wiseco also applies an ArmorGlide skirt coating to reduce friction, resist seizure, and contribute to quieter operation. The fully machined crown ensures accuracy, and forced pin oiling helps keep the wrist pin lubricated under high loads.
