If you're rebuilding the engine in your Mitsubishi EVO X with the 4B11 turbo engine, especially for serious racing or heavy-duty performance, a strong set of forged pistons is key. This Wiseco Professional Series piston kit is built to handle the demands of severe duty applications, offering improved tensile strength and durability over stock cast pistons. They are designed to be a robust foundation for a high-performance engine build.

These pistons are forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its strength. Wiseco has included several features to enhance performance and longevity, such as precision ring grooves, anti-detonation grooves, and other features aimed at improving ring seal. The piston crown is fully machined, and they come with forced pin oiling to ensure the wrist pins stay well-lubricated under high stress. Additionally, the ArmorGlide skirt coating helps reduce friction, resist seizure, and operate more quietly.

This kit includes four pistons, each with an 88mm bore and a -8cc dish volume, resulting in a compression ratio of 8.8:1. The pin diameter is 0.9055 inches.
