This is a single Wiseco forged piston, designed for the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 8 with the 4G63 Turbo engine. It features an 85.50 mm bore and a 35.00 mm compression height, with a 0.866 inch pin diameter. These pistons are built for serious racers and builders who need components that can handle heavy to severe duty performance applications.
Crafted in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these pistons offer improved tensile strength. They come with precision ring grooves, an anti-detonation groove, and other features aimed at improving ring seal. The piston crown is fully machined, and they include forced pin oiling for better lubrication. Wiseco also applies an ArmorGlide skirt coating, which helps resist seizure, reduces friction, and contributes to quieter operation.
