If you're rebuilding the engine in your Nissan Sentra with the QR25DE 2.5L engine for serious performance, a set of forged pistons is a critical component. These Wiseco pistons are built from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its improved tensile strength, making them well-suited for the demands of heavy and severe duty race applications. They are forged and machined right here in the USA, ensuring a high level of manufacturing control.

This set features an 89.50mm bore, which is +.020 inch oversize from the factory specification. The pistons have a -19.5 dome dish and a compression ratio of 8.47:1, designed to work with specific cylinder head combinations for boosted or high-performance naturally aspirated builds. You'll find precision ring grooves, anti-detonation grooves, and other features designed to improve ring seal. The crown is fully machined, and they include forced pin oiling to keep the wrist pins lubricated. Wiseco also applies an ArmorGlide skirt coating, which helps reduce friction and noise while resisting seizure.
