These pistons are built from 2618 aluminum, chosen for its improved tensile strength, and are forged and machined in the USA. The ArmorGlide? skirt coating helps reduce friction and noise, while also resisting seizure. Precision machining on the crown includes features for improved ring seal and anti-detonation, along with forced pin oiling to keep things cool under pressure.
