This is a single Wiseco forged piston designed for the Nissan VQ37VHR engine, commonly found in the 2008-2013 Infiniti G37 and 2009-2014 Nissan 370Z. It has a 95.50 mm bore and a 30.43 mm compression height, with a 9:1 compression ratio thanks to its -15.5cc dish volume. This piston is built from 2618 aluminum, chosen for its strength, and is forged and machined in the USA.
Wiseco has included several features to improve performance and durability. The piston crown is fully machined, and it has precision ring grooves along with features for additional ring seal. For reduced friction and noise, and to resist seizure, the piston skirt is coated with ArmorGlide. It also includes forced pin oiling to keep the wrist pin lubricated, and anti-detonation grooves to help prevent premature ignition.
This piston is intended for heavy to severe duty performance applications. Please note that this part is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
