They are constructed from 2618 aluminum, chosen for its high tensile strength, and are forged and machined in the USA.

Wiseco has incorporated several features to enhance performance and longevity. The pistons have precision ring grooves, anti-detonation grooves, and additional features to improve ring seal. They also come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating, which helps resist seizure, reduces friction, and contributes to quieter operation.
