The dedicated forgings allow for an optimized, engine-specific strutted design, meaning Wiseco engineers have maximized the strength-to-weight ratio for each piston. To further reduce friction and wear, the skirts are coated with ArmorGlide, which also helps quiet down operation. You'll also find an accumulator groove, which helps maintain consistent ring seal and consistent power delivery.
