These Wiseco RED Series pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is essential for the demanding conditions found in performance racing and engines with power adders. The Race Engineered Design (RED) philosophy behind this series focuses on combining robust durability with precision-machined features to give you a competitive edge, whether you're on the drag strip or the circle track. Each piston is machined in the USA to exacting standards.

You'll find horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, a detail that's critical for keeping the wrist pin and the small end of the connecting rod properly lubricated, which directly contributes to a longer service life for these components. Wiseco uses dedicated forgings for each specific engine application, allowing them to create an optimized, strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. To further reduce friction and noise, and to minimize wear on the piston skirt and cylinder wall, these pistons come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating. An accumulator groove is also incorporated to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output.

This set includes eight pistons, each designed for a 4.125-inch bore with a 1.425-inch compression height and a -7.00 CC volume in the combustion chamber. Premium rings are included with each part number, so you won't need to source them separately. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
