Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of performance Chevrolet Small Block engines. The RED (Race Engineered Design) series is specifically crafted to offer the strength and durability needed for racing applications, from drag strips to circle tracks, while incorporating precision-machined features that give you a competitive edge.

Each piston in this set features horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, which is crucial for maintaining optimal wrist pin and small-end lubrication, ensuring a long service life even under high stress. The dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific, strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. To further reduce friction and wear, an ArmorGlide skirt coating is applied, which also helps to quiet operation. This set includes premium rings, so you won't need to source them separately, and an accumulator groove is incorporated to help maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery.
