This set includes eight Wiseco RED Series pistons, designed for Chevrolet Small Block engines. Each piston has a 4.130-inch bore, a 1.425-inch compression height, and a -7.00cc dish volume. These pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its tensile strength, making them well-suited for demanding performance racing and applications using power adders like turbochargers or superchargers. The RED series, which stands for Race Engineered Design, aims to provide the strength needed for competitive engines with precision features.

Wiseco has incorporated several features to ensure durability and optimal performance. The horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores helps keep the wrist pin and small-end of the connecting rod properly lubricated, which is crucial for a long service life. Dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific strutted design, balancing strength with a manageable weight. Additionally, the ArmorGlide skirt coating is applied to reduce friction and noise during operation, while also minimizing wear on the piston skirt and cylinder wall. Each set comes complete with premium rings, so you won't need to source them separately. An accumulator groove is also included to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output.
