This set includes eight forged pistons designed for Chevrolet Small Block engines. Wiseco's RED (Race Engineered Design) series uses dedicated forgings from 2618 aluminum, chosen for its tensile strength, making these pistons well-suited for demanding performance applications and engines with power adders. The 4.135-inch bore size and 1.062-inch compression height are specific to certain Small Block configurations.

You'll find horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, which helps keep the wrist pins and small-end connecting rod bearings properly lubricated for a longer service life. The pistons also feature an accumulator groove to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output. Wiseco includes premium rings with this set, so you won't need to source them separately. The ArmorGlide skirt coating is applied to reduce friction and noise, while also minimizing wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls.
