Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of performance Chevrolet Small Block engines. The Race Engineered Design (RED) process focuses on creating pistons with the strength needed for racing and power adder applications, while also incorporating precision-machined features that give you a competitive edge. These are a solid option for everything from drag racing to circle track builds.

Wiseco machines these pistons in the USA, and they feature horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores. This design helps keep the wrist pin and small end of the connecting rod properly lubricated, which is crucial for a long service life under high stress. Dedicated forgings are used to create an engine-specific strutted design, maximizing strength while keeping weight down. The included ArmorGlide skirt coating is designed to reduce friction and noise, and it also helps cut down on skirt and cylinder wear. Each set comes complete with premium rings, so you won't need to source those separately. An accumulator groove is also incorporated to help maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery.
