Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of high-performance Chevrolet Small Block engines. The Race Engineered Design (RED) process focuses on strength and durability, crucial for applications ranging from drag racing to circle track. Each piston features a -7.00cc dish, a 4.155-inch bore, and a 1.425-inch compression height, designed to work with specific engine configurations for optimal performance.

Wiseco incorporates several features to ensure longevity and efficiency. Horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores keeps the wrist pin and small-end of the connecting rod properly lubricated, which is vital for extended service life under high stress. The dedicated forgings allow for an optimized, strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. Additionally, the ArmorGlide skirt coating works to reduce friction and noise, minimizing wear on both the piston skirt and the cylinder wall.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 0.927-inch pin diameter. An accumulator groove is integrated to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output.
