Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of high-performance racing and power adder applications. The RED? series, which stands for Race Engineered Design?, focuses on providing the strength and durability needed for engines pushing serious limits, whether on the drag strip or the circle track. Each piston is precisely machined in the USA to offer a competitive edge.

Wiseco has incorporated several features to ensure longevity and optimal performance. Horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores keeps the wrist pin and small end of the connecting rod properly lubricated, which is crucial for extended service life under high stress. The dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific strutted design, maximizing strength while keeping weight down. Additionally, the ArmorGlide? skirt coating works to reduce friction and noise, while also minimizing wear on the piston skirt and cylinder wall. An accumulator groove is also included to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 4.185-inch bore, a 1.000-inch compression height, and a -12.00 CC dish. The included wrist pins are 0.927 inches in diameter. This kit comes complete with premium rings, so you won't need to source them separately. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
