These pistons are forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is essential for performance racing and engines with power adders. To ensure optimal lubrication and long service life, they feature horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, which keeps the wrist pin and small-end of the connecting rod well-lubricated. The dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific strutted design, maximizing the strength-to-weight ratio. Additionally, the ArmorGlide skirt coating is applied to reduce operating friction and noise, while also minimizing wear on the piston skirt and cylinder wall. Each set includes premium rings, so you won't need to source those separately, and an accumulator groove is incorporated to help maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery.

This set is designed for Chevrolet Big Block engines with a 4.125 inch bore and a 1.395 inch compression height. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. They are also subject to Prop 65 warnings.
