If you're building a high-performance Chevy Big Block engine for serious racing, like drag or circle track, you need pistons that can handle the stress. Wiseco's RED Series pistons are built for just that. These pistons are forged and machined right here in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its tensile strength, making them well-suited for racing and engines with power adders. Wiseco includes a few thoughtful details: horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores helps keep the wrist pins and connecting rod small ends properly lubricated, which is key for long service life. The dedicated forgings allow for an optimized, engine-specific strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. Plus, the ArmorGlide skirt coating helps reduce friction and noise, and it also cuts down on skirt and cylinder wear.

This set comes complete with premium rings, so you won't need to source those separately. An accumulator groove is also included to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output. Keep in mind these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
