Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of performance racing and power adder applications. The RED (Race Engineered Design) series is specifically crafted to offer the strength and durability needed for engines pushing the limits, whether on the drag strip or the circle track. This set is designed for Chevrolet Big Block engines with a 4.155-inch bore.

Each piston features horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, ensuring consistent lubrication for the wrist pin and connecting rod small end, which is crucial for maintaining longevity under high stress. The dedicated forgings allow for an optimized, engine-specific strutted design, maximizing strength while keeping weight down. Wiseco also includes an ArmorGlide skirt coating to reduce friction and noise, further minimizing wear on the piston skirt and cylinder walls. An accumulator groove is incorporated to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output.
