Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of performance racing and power adder applications. The Race Engineered Design (RED) process focuses on strength and durability, incorporating precision-machined features to give you a competitive edge whether you're on the drag strip or circle track. These pistons are specifically designed for popular domestic V8 platforms, forming the backbone of many high-performance builds.

Each piston features horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, which is crucial for maintaining proper lubrication of the wrist pin and small end of the connecting rod, contributing to a longer service life. The dedicated forgings allow for an optimized, strutted design tailored to the engine, maximizing the strength-to-weight ratio. To further reduce friction and noise, and to minimize wear on the piston skirt and cylinder walls, an ArmorGlide skirt coating is applied. This coating helps ensure consistent ring seal and power delivery.

This set includes premium rings, so you won't need to source them separately. An accumulator groove is also incorporated to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output under demanding conditions. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
