Wiseco RED Series Chevy LS 4.020in Bore 1.105in CH -20.00 CC Piston Set

Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of high-performance Chevy LS engines. The RED (Race Engineered Design) series uses dedicated forgings for each specific engine application, allowing for an optimized strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. This is crucial for engines that see hard use, whether on the drag strip or the circle track.

Wiseco has incorporated several features to ensure longevity and consistent performance. Horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores keeps the wrist pin and small-end of the connecting rod properly lubricated, which is vital for preventing wear under high loads. The pistons also feature an accumulator groove, designed to help maintain a consistent ring seal, which is key for maximizing power output and efficiency. Additionally, the ArmorGlide skirt coating reduces friction and noise, while also minimizing wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls.
