Built from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are forged and machined in the USA specifically for high-performance Chevy LS engines. The RED (Race Engineered Design) series is all about giving you the strength and durability needed for demanding applications like drag racing and circle track, with precision features that help you get the most out of your build.

You'll find horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, which is a smart detail that keeps the wrist pins and small-end of the connecting rods well-lubricated, crucial for making these parts last under stress. Wiseco also uses dedicated forgings for each engine application, allowing them to create a strutted design that balances strength with a low weight. Plus, the ArmorGlide skirt coating is there to cut down on friction and noise, while also reducing wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls. An accumulator groove is included to help maintain a consistent ring seal, which is key for keeping power where it belongs.
