Wiseco RED Series Chevy LS 4.030in Bore 1.294in CH -15.00 CC Piston Set

This is a set of eight Wiseco RED Series forged pistons designed for Chevrolet LS engines. These pistons are built using Race Engineered Design (RED) principles, which means they're crafted for the strength and durability demanded by high-performance and racing applications, from drag strips to circle tracks. They are machined from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for engines with power adders.

Each piston features horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores to ensure the wrist pin and small end of the connecting rod stay properly lubricated, which is crucial for a long service life. The dedicated forgings allow for an optimized, engine-specific strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. You'll also find an accumulator groove that helps maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery. To reduce friction and noise, and to minimize wear on the piston skirt and cylinder walls, these pistons come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating. This set includes premium rings, so you won't need to source them separately.
