Wiseco RED Series Chevy LS 4.040in Bore 1.105in CH -20.00 CC Piston Set

This is a set of eight Wiseco RED Series pistons, designed specifically for Chevrolet LS engines. You get the pistons themselves, ready for installation, along with premium rings to ensure proper sealing. These pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for the demands of performance racing and engines with power adders like turbochargers or superchargers.

Wiseco's Race Engineered Design (RED) series uses dedicated forgings that allow for an optimized, engine-specific strutted design. This approach helps maximize the strength-to-weight ratio, which is crucial for high-RPM performance. To further reduce friction and noise, and to help minimize wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, these pistons feature an ArmorGlide skirt coating. The horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores is a smart detail that keeps the wrist pin and the small end of the connecting rod properly lubricated, contributing to a longer service life for these critical components. An accumulator groove is also included to help maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery.
