These Wiseco RED Series pistons start with a 2618 aluminum forging, chosen for the high tensile strength needed in performance racing and power adder applications. The Race Engineered Design (RED) philosophy means these pistons are precision-machined to give your Chevy LS engine a competitive edge, whether you're on the drag strip or the circle track. Each piston is built with horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, a detail that ensures optimal wrist pin and small-end lubrication, which is critical for a long service life under demanding conditions.

Wiseco uses dedicated forgings for each engine application, allowing for an optimized, strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down.
