Wiseco RED Series Chevy LS 4.140in Bore 1.294in CH -15.00 CC Piston Set

This is a set of eight Wiseco RED Series forged pistons designed for Chevrolet LS engines. You get the pistons themselves, ready to be installed in your performance build. These pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for demanding racing and power adder applications where durability is key.

Wiseco's Race Engineered Design (RED) philosophy means these pistons are not only strong but also precisely machined for a competitive edge. They feature horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores to ensure the wrist pin and connecting rod small end stay well-lubricated, which is crucial for a long service life under high stress. The dedicated forgings allow for an optimized strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. Additionally, an accumulator groove is included to help maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery. Each set also comes with premium rings, so you don't have to source them separately.

These pistons also include an ArmorGlide skirt coating. This coating helps to reduce operating friction and noise, while also minimizing wear on the piston skirt and cylinder wall. Keep in mind that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. They are designed for performance applications and are a solid choice for drag racing or circle track builds.
