Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of high-performance Chevy LS engines. The RED (Race Engineered Design) series is specifically crafted to offer the strength and durability needed for racing and power adder applications, while incorporating precision-machined features that give you a competitive edge. These pistons are designed with horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, which is crucial for maintaining optimal lubrication for the wrist pin and the small end of the connecting rod, contributing to a long service life even under extreme conditions.

Each piston features a dedicated forging that allows for an optimized, engine-specific strutted design, maximizing strength while keeping weight down. The ArmorGlide skirt coating is applied to reduce operating friction and noise, and it also helps to minimize wear on both the piston skirt and the cylinder wall.
