These pistons are forged and machined right here in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for performance racing and engines with power adders. Wiseco includes horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores to ensure your wrist pins and connecting rod small ends stay properly lubricated, which is key for a long service life. The dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific strutted design, which means they're optimized to be strong without adding unnecessary weight. Plus, the ArmorGlide skirt coating helps reduce friction and noise, while also cutting down on wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls.
