These pistons are forged and machined in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for high-performance racing and applications using power adders like turbochargers or superchargers.

Each piston in this set features horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores. This design detail is crucial for maintaining proper lubrication at the wrist pin and the small end of the connecting rod, which helps ensure a long service life under high stress. The dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific strutted design, which helps maximize strength while keeping the weight down. To further reduce friction and wear, the skirt coating is an ArmorGlide finish, which also helps quiet down operation. You also get an accumulator groove, which helps maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery.

This set includes eight pistons, each with a 4.165-inch bore and a 1.105-inch compression height. The dish volume is -10.00cc, and the pin diameter is 0.927 inches.
