Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of high-performance racing and power adder applications. The RED? series, which stands for Race Engineered Design, is specifically crafted to offer the strength and durability needed in competitive engines, while incorporating precision-machined features that give you an edge. These pistons are a cornerstone for popular domestic V8 platforms, finding their place from drag strips to circle tracks.

Each piston in this set features horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores, a detail that ensures optimal lubrication for the wrist pin and small-end of the connecting rod, which is critical for a long service life under stress. The dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific strutted design, maximizing the strength-to-weight ratio. To further reduce friction and noise, and to minimize wear on both the piston skirt and cylinder wall, an ArmorGlide skirt coating is applied. This set also includes premium rings, so you won't need to source those separately, and an accumulator groove is incorporated to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output.

This set is designed for a 4.040-inch bore with a 1.425-inch compression height and a 0.927-inch pin diameter. Please note that these pistons are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. They are also subject to Prop 65 warnings.
