Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of performance racing and power adder applications. The RED (Race Engineered Design) series is specifically crafted to offer the strength and durability needed for engines pushing beyond stock limits, whether you're building for drag racing, circle track, or another high-performance use. Each piston is precision-machined in the USA to ensure it meets the rigorous standards required for competitive engines.

You'll find a horizontal slot oiling feature in the pin bores, which is crucial for keeping the wrist pin and small-end of the connecting rod properly lubricated. This helps ensure a long service life even under heavy use. The dedicated forgings allow for an optimized, engine-specific strutted design, meaning Wiseco has engineered these pistons to maximize their strength while keeping weight down. To further reduce friction and noise, an ArmorGlide skirt coating is applied, which also helps minimize wear on both the piston skirt and the cylinder wall. An accumulator groove is also included to help maintain consistent ring seal and consistent power delivery.
