Each piston in this set features horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores to keep the wrist pin and small-end of the connecting rod well-lubricated, which is crucial for a long service life under stress. The dedicated forgings allow for an optimized, engine-specific strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. You'll also find an accumulator groove that helps maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery.
