Wiseco RED Series Chevy Small Block 400 4.125in Bore 1.550in CH -15.00 CC Piston Set

This is a set of eight Wiseco RED Series pistons designed for Chevrolet Small Block 400 engines with a 4.125-inch bore. These pistons are built using Wiseco's Race Engineered Design (RED) process, which focuses on creating strong, durable components with precision machining for a competitive edge in performance applications like drag racing and circle track. They are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material chosen for its high tensile strength, making these pistons well-suited for demanding racing and power adder setups.

Each piston features horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores to ensure consistent lubrication for the wrist pin and the small end of the connecting rod, which is crucial for maintaining longevity under high stress. The dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. To further reduce friction and noise, and to minimize wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, these pistons come with an ArmorGlide skirt coating. You also get premium rings included with each set, so you won't need to source them separately. An accumulator groove is incorporated to help maintain consistent ring seal and power output.
