Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of performance racing and power adder applications. The RED? series, which stands for Race Engineered Design?, utilizes specific forgings for each engine application to maximize strength and minimize weight. This means you get a piston that's optimized for your Chevy Small Block 400, helping it perform reliably under stress.

Wiseco has included several features to ensure longevity and consistent performance. Horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores keeps the wrist pin and connecting rod small end well-lubricated, which is crucial for extended engine life.
