Forged from 2618 aluminum, these Wiseco RED Series pistons are built for the demands of performance racing and engines with power adders. The RED (Race Engineered Design) series is specifically crafted to offer the strength and durability needed for competitive applications, from drag racing to circle track, while incorporating precision-machined features that give you an edge.

Each piston in this set features horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores. This design detail is crucial for maintaining optimal lubrication at the wrist pin and small end of the connecting rod, which is vital for ensuring a long service life under high stress. The dedicated forgings allow for an engine-specific strutted design, balancing maximum strength with a low weight. Additionally, the ArmorGlide skirt coating works to reduce operating friction and noise, while also minimizing wear on both the piston skirt and the cylinder wall. An accumulator groove is also included to help maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery.

This set includes eight pistons, each designed for a 4.155-inch bore with a 1.125-inch compression height and a -12.00cc dish volume.
