When you're building a performance Chevy Small Block 400, Wiseco's RED Series piston set gives you the strength and precision you need. This set includes eight pistons, each forged from 2618 aluminum right here in the USA. They're designed with Race Engineered Design (RED) principles to handle the demands of racing and power adder applications, offering a solid foundation for your engine build.

These pistons feature horizontal slot oiling in the pin bores to keep your wrist pins and connecting rod small ends well-lubricated, which is crucial for longevity in high-stress environments. Wiseco uses dedicated forgings for each engine application, allowing them to create an optimized, strutted design that maximizes strength while keeping weight down. The ArmorGlide skirt coating is applied to reduce friction and noise, and it also helps cut down on wear to both the piston skirt and the cylinder walls. An accumulator groove is included to help maintain consistent ring seal and power delivery.
